Adventuresome Kitchen asked me to try out their Chocolate Lover’s To Die For Gluten Free Brownie Mix. Being the huge chocolate lover that I am I gladly accepted. After they came in the mail I couldn’t wait to mix them up and give them a try.
What they claim: Adventuresome Kitchen says these brownies are “To Die For”, easy to make, gluten free, and delicious.
The box came with 2 bags of brownie mix. I made one of the bags. All that was needed to make these was 3 eggs and 1 cup of butter which I had on hand. The directions say mix until it feels like your arm may fall off (truth!). They said these brownies are best cooked in a metal pan but all I had was glass. I cooked them for 40 minutes. The whole process was very easy.
The Verdict: One word ..Yum! These brownies cooked fine in my glass pan. They came out very chewy with a crusty top and a soft and gooey center. Gluten free or not, they taste wonderful. They have a very complex chocolate flavor. If you love chocolate these brownies are for you. You can get your own at Amazon for $24.99 (remember this is a double batch)
