Coronavirus Freebies: Huge list of FREE Stuff You Can Get During the CoronaVirus Pandemic

Many companies are offering help during the Coronavirus pandemic.  Check the list below for resources you can use for FREE to help you make it through.

FREE online Dr Visit

K Health: Think you might have the coronavirus? Right now you can download the K Health App for FREE.  This will let you text with US doctors FREE for 14 days.  Click here to learn more.

Free Unlimited Smartphone Data

All four of the major United States carriers — AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon — have signed on to the FCC’s Keep Americans Connected Pledge. These carriers have agreed to take the follow action for at least the next 60 days:

  • Not terminate service to any residential or small business customers because of their inability to pay their bills due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic;
  • Waive any late fees that any residential or small business customers incur because of their economic circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic; and
  • Open its Wi-Fi hotspots to any American who needs them.

In addition carriers have also committed to giving customers unlimited smartphone data for the next 60 days.  Check with your carrier for more details on your plan.

Free Internet Service

Comcast FREE Internet: To help low income families during the Coronavirus, Comcast is giving away their Internet Essentials service for free to those that qualify.  Click this link for more info.

Spectrum FREE Internet: Charter announced that beginning on Monday it will offer free broadband and wifi access for 60 days to families with elementary school or college students who do not already have a Spectrum subscription. The company is also waiving its installation fees for new subscribers.  Click this link for more info.

Xfinity: Xfinity is removing data caps and opening up their WiFi network for 60 days. Learn more here.

For the Kids

Children may not be able to go to school, but they don’t have to stop learning.  These services are offering freebies to help your children learn while they are home.

The Metropolitan Opera Will Stream Operas for Free in Wake of Coronavirus: The Metropolitan Opera will stream nightly opera streams on it’s official website.  The stream will be free and will present encores of The Met’s acclaimed Live in HD series.
