Aveda’s Product Testing Program offers a unique opportunity for beauty enthusiasts to play a significant role in the creation of new products. By participating in this program, you can directly contribute to the development of high-quality products that meet the needs of consumers. Here’s everything you need to know about the program and how you can get involved.
Understanding the Aveda Product Testing Program
As a panelist, you can choose the studies you’d like to participate in, but you’ll need to meet the specific study criteria in a screener before enrollment. Screeners are typically sent online via an emailed link. Qualification is determined by specific inclusion and exclusion criteria for each study. You’ll be notified via email if you’re selected for testing.
Participate in Aveda’s In-Salon and At-Home Studies
The Aveda Product Testing Program conducts different types of studies:
- In-Salon Studies: If you live near Aveda’s headquarters in Blaine, Minnesota, you can participate in these studies. Trained professionals apply and evaluate the test product. The types of studies offered onsite include shampoos, conditioners/treatments, styling products, professional hair colors, and current retail and consumer-marketed products. All In-Salon studies require at least one visit to the onsite research salon.
- At-Home Consumer Studies: This option is available to anyone located in the continental United States. Products tested include shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments, and styling products. These are mailed directly to your home for you to test on your own. You’ll provide feedback on the products and your usage experience via online surveys.
Earn Free Aveda Products for Your Participation
Panelists are compensated for their participation in product testing studies. The compensation is determined by several factors: length of study, number of appointments necessary, length of appointments, and the type of study. Compensation details will be provided for each study prior to enrollment.
