Heading to Disney World this year? Did you know there are some really cool freebies that you can get when you visit the parks? There are a number of free things you can score around the park but you need to know where to go, who to ask, and what to ask for!
Here is a list of 13 FREEBIES you can score on your Disney World Vacation!
Free Pixie Dust
What’s a visit to Disney world without a little magic? Head to the Castle Couture behind Cinderella’s castle and get dusted with pixie dust for free!
You can also see Aurora’s magic color-changing dress, pick your own princess outfit and pose for a royal portrait at this boutique.
Free Ice Water
Florida can be super hot, especially in the summer. It’s great to know that you can stop at any location with a soda fountain and ask for a free cup of water. You can get a cup of ice water, or just a cup of ice. It’s completely free and a great way to stay hydrated in the Florida sun.
Free Chocolate
Stop into the Ghiradelli shop in Downtown Disney for some free chocolate! The store regularly offers free samples.
Free First Aid Kits
Feeling bad on your special day? Nurses are available during normal park operating hours to offer over-the-counter medications, bandages and other quick remedies so that you can begin enjoying your vacation again. First Aid centers can also store medications which require refrigeration. For your safety, special containers can be provided for disposal of hypodermic needles.
Free MyDisneyExperience App
This is an awesome app and pretty much a necessity when visiting Disney. Luckily its totally free! The app shows you park maps, wait times, and fireworks + parades showtimes. You can also make restaurant reservations, find character locations, and even buy tickets. You may ask yourself what can’t this app do!
Free Wifi
All of the Disney parks and resorts offer FREE wifi. This is great for getting online, using the MyDisneyExperience app, and sharing all your special moments. In the past the wifi was rather slow, but recently it has become much more reliable.
Free Transportation Trading Cards
Cast Members on the various forms of Disney transportation should have transportation trading cards available if you ask for them. Sometimes they are out of stock, so if you don’t score one with one Cast Member, just ask another.
Free Disney FastPass+
All the other parks charge for their fast passes, but Disney fast passes are FREE!
Disney FastPass+ service allows you to reserve access to select Walt Disney World theme park attractions, entertainment and Character Greetings in advance. There is no additional cost to use FastPass+ service―it is included with your theme park admission.
Free Stickers
There are cast members all over the park giving out free stickers. These are great for wearing, collecting, and also great for scrapbooks. They are many different ones to collect! All free 🙂
Free International Soda at Club Cool
If you visit Epcot make sure you vist Club Cool! They offer free samples of coca-cola products from around the world.
What can you taste there?
- Beverly – a common aperitif found in Italy.
- Fanta – Fanta debuted in Europe in the 1940s and was introduced in the U.S.A. in 1960s. It’s now available in more than 90 flavors.
- VegitaBeta – This Japanese beverage combines apricot and passion fruit flavors.
- Fanta (Melon Frosty) – This melon-flavored soda is number one in Thailand.
- Bibo – This fruit-flavored juice drink originates from South Africa.
- Sparberry – This raspberry cream-flavored soda has been a favorite in Africa since 1955.
- Guarana Kuat – This drink, flavored after the guarana berry, is popular in Brazil.
- Inca Kola – This Peruvian favorite offers a sweet, almost bubblegum-like taste.
Free Drink Refills
Free refills are available at certain restaurants in the Disney parks:
- Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, Electric Umbrella
- Hollywood Studios: Backlot Express
- Animal Kingdom: Restaurantosaurus
Free Vacation Planning DVD
While your waiting for your vacation to start, grab a free vacation planning dvd from Disney! They often have Disney park and cruise line dvds available. You can watch online or have them mailed to you.
Celebration Buttons
If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, are a first time guest, or any other special circumstance head to guest services for your free celebration button. Just let them know what your celebrating and they will give you a button to wear in the park. Not only is it a great keepsake, but often wearing the pin will get you attention from cast members and characters!
