Let’s dive in.

What is Fido Alert?

FidoAlert and Tabby Alert is a FREE nationwide pet alert network that connects you to thousands of local Pet Finders in your area to bring your lost dog home safe and sound.

Is FidoAlert Really Free?

Yes, FidoAlert is genuinely free for all pet owners in the US. The company is adamant about never charging pet owners to help find their lost pets. While the service is free for users, it’s not without cost to the company. Expenses like manufacturing customized pet tags, mailing them, and sending SMS alerts add up. However, FidoAlert funds this service through revenue generated by its parent company, PetScreening, and contributions from pet-loving companies and individuals.

Does FidoAlert Work for Cats Too?

Absolutely! While the name “Fido” might evoke images of our canine companions, FidoAlert is not exclusive to dogs. Cats, with their curious nature, are just as prone to wandering off or getting lost. Recognizing this, FidoAlert has designed its system to cater to both dogs and cats. When registering your pet, you can specify whether it’s a cat or dog, ensuring that the alerts sent out are accurate. So, whether you’re a dog lover, a cat enthusiast, or both, FidoAlert has got you covered, ensuring the safety and swift return of your furry family member.

In a world where every minute counts when your pet is missing, FidoAlert offers a fast, efficient, and free solution to help reunite you with your beloved companion. With its vast network and quick alert system, it’s an essential tool for every pet owner.
