The program has hugely improved customer interactions, making them more meaningful and giving Adidas feedback on what they need to work on.

One of the most appealing things about being an Adidas product tester, besides the free shoes and apparel, is the ability to test new products and get to try the latest gear. The Internet is full of blogs written by aspiring testers, who are curious about the newest footwear and apparel products. If you have an interest in trying out new products and want a break from the office, consider applying as a product tester for Adidas.

How the Adidas Product testing Program works

The Adidas Product Testing Program is designed to gather feedback from real customers on the performance, comfort, and fit of their products. As a product tester, you’ll have the opportunity to test out new and unreleased Adidas products before they hit the market.

Once you have signed up and become a tester and have been added to the database, you will be eligible to test products when they become available. You’ll be matched with products that fit your size and interests. The Product Testing Team will choose testers based on characteristics such as shoe/apparel size, demographic profile, geographic location, sport and athletic profile.

If you are selected for a product testing opportunity, you will receive an e−mail inviting you to participate.  If you accept the invite, they will mail you the product along with instructions on how to evaluate the product.  You would then test the product the required period of time agreed to for the testing period (usually around 2-4 weeks).

Some tests will ask you to just proceed with your normal routine, while others will ask you for detailed logs of your activity, amount of mileage, or even a short survey.  At the end of the testing period and evaluation, you will mail the product back for inspection.  You will never be charged for shipping or handling.

This feedback is crucial for Adidas to improve the quality and design of their products. It’s important to note that the program is voluntary and you’ll be expected to return the product after testing it out. In exchange for your time and feedback, you may have the opportunity to keep the product or receive other rewards from Adidas. Overall, the Adidas Product Testing Program is a great opportunity for athletes and fitness enthusiasts to help shape the future of Adidas products.

How to measure for the Adidas Product Testing Signup

To measure for wear testing as an Adidas product tester, you’ll need to have a measuring tape handy. First, ensure that you’re wearing minimal clothing that won’t interfere with taking accurate measurements.

• Stand straight with your feet slightly apart and your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
• When measuring your chest, wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, making sure that it’s parallel to the ground.
• For the waist measurement, find the narrowest part of your torso and wrap the tape around it.
• To measure your hips, place the tape around the widest part of your hips and butt.
• For the inseam measurement, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and measure from the crotch area down to your ankle.
• Lastly, measure your height by standing with your back straight against a wall and measuring from the top of your head down to your heels.

Be sure to record each measurement accurately and double-check to ensure their accuracy before submitting them to Adidas. If you can’t find your size among the available options when applying to be an Adidas product tester, it’s likely because the test products are only available in limited sizes. Adidas may choose to produce a limited range of sizes for their test products to ensure that they receive feedback from a diverse group of testers while keeping costs manageable. It’s important to note that the limited size range doesn’t necessarily reflect Adidas’ overall size range for their products.

What Happens After you are Accepted to be an Adidas Product Tester?
