Get FREE Stuff from Influenster!
You’ve probably seen this new site popping up in your social media feeds, and if you haven’t, take a look at it now. Influenster is a site where you can sign up for free product samples and full size products for FREE. It’s a two-way street, though: you get free stuff, but only if you give your honest feedback on the product. That’s why the site is great for just about everyone: you can try out products, and then share about them. You get free stuff, and you get to share your opinion. Everybody wins.
What is Influenster?
Influenster is an online community of more than 1 million members all committed to reviewing new products, sharing recommendations, and helping each other learn about new brands. In exchange for their honest reviews, Influenster sends its members free samples of products they request for review.
These products include food, cosmetics, and household cleaning products that are freshly-made and ready to ship. The products are free to review, but Influenster does request that members share a review on Influenster.com with their opinions of the products they receive. Also, members who write reviews are entered into a sweepstakes to win products each month. You can request free products for review in your area of interest, and share your review with your friends.
Influenster is combining with Try it Sampling
According to an email sent out on December 14, 2022, TryIt Sampling is joining forces with Influenster to make your sampling experience easier and better than ever. This means that the campaigns you’re used to seeing in TryIt will soon be run in Influenster instead, and eventually the TryIt program will be retired.
They mentioned that very soon all campaigns will come exclusively through Influenster. For now, you will see campaigns running in both TryIt and Influenster and should continue to complete reviews for TryIt products in your TryIt account, but also keep an eye on the Influenster app for new opportunities!
Check that you have the latest version of the Influenster app downloaded (Android or iOS), and that your profile is complete and up to date by tapping the “Profile” icon in the lower right corner of the app and answering the questions in the “My info” section.
For more information on the Try it Sampling / Influenster transition, you can skip ahead to the FAQ section.
If you want more information on Tryit Sampling, check out my Tryit Sampling post which explains in detail what Tryit is and how it worked up until now.

Tryit / Influenster FAQs
Why are TryIt campaigns moving to Influenster?
In addition to providing more types of sampling opportunities for members, the Influenster platform will allow them to obtain many different kinds of content for brands in addition to product reviews – anything from posts on Instagram and Facebook to TikTok videos.
Will my history transfer to my Influenster account? Do I have to use the same email address I use for TryIt?
Although you will not be able to view your TryIt history in your Influenster account, it will be used to identify you as a valued member and help you be targeted into the right campaigns. You aren’t required to use the same email address as you do with TryIt, but they recommend that you do so that you can be identified as a TryIt member.
Do I have to connect my social accounts and post on social media to participate?
Connecting your social accounts may increase your eligibility for more offers, but it is not a requirement.
Will I receive as many offers as I do now?
The number of offers you receive may vary and is dependent on a range of factors, such as product availability and campaign targeting. While we cannot guarantee that you will receive offers, it is beneficial to keep your profile up to date and complete tasks in Influenster campaigns as it may increase the chances of being selected to try a product.
How will I know if I get invited to an Influenster campaign?
You will receive a notification via email and/or from the app letting you know a campaign is available on your Influenster dashboard. Be sure that you have notifications enabled by following these steps in the Influenster app:
Tap on the “Profile” icon in the lower right corner
Tap on the “Settings” icon in the upper right corner
Tap on “Notifications” and toggle the “Push” and “Email” notification buttons to allow one or both types of notifications.
You will need to log into your Influenster account to request a product, which will be on a limited, first-come, first-serve basis, just like TryIt.
When will TryIt go away?
We do not have a specific date for the retirement of the TryIt program, but we anticipate that more campaigns will be run through Influenster in the coming months as they move towards completing the transition.
How do I sign up for an Influenster account?
You can register directly at https://www.influenster.com/registration or within the Influenster app, which you can download from the app store.
