Have you heard about the Home Depot Seeds Program?
The Home Depot Seeds Program (“Seeds” or “Seeds Program”) is a program that enables a select group of the Home Depot customers to post opinions about new and pre-released items to help their fellow customers make educated purchase decisions. Customers are invited to become Seeds Members based on the trust they have earned in the HomeDepot.com community for writing accurate and insightful reviews.
The Seeds Program provides Members with free products that have been submitted to Seeds by vendors or The Home Depot. Since Seeds Members will receive access to products that are not yet available on the market, their opinions may be among the first posted on a product’s detail page. The Home Depot does not influence the opinions of Seeds Members, nor do we modify or edit their reviews.
How can I become a Seeds Member?
The Home Depot Seeds program is an invitation-only program. How are members selected? We invite Members to the Seeds program based on the number and quality of reviews submitted on the site as well as the amount of helpfulness feedback votes the reviews have received from other customers.
So basically start reviewing products you have purchased at Home Depot at HomeDepot.com and you could be invited to get free products via the Seeds program! Is anyone a current member?

I am a member and am so glad I reviewed the products I bought at Home Depot and got invited to participate! I was invited 13 months ago and it is a God send for sure.
I am a member and am honored to be on the invite list. I have been offered some expensive products to try, but unless I can actually use them promptly and give an honest review, I give them a pass. Not all of my reviews are positive. If something has a defect, I say so.
I’ve been a member of The Home Depot Seeds Program for nearly 2 years. They sent me an email invitation after I reviewed many different products that had I bought there over time. I am also active in responding to answering questions that other consumers may ask online about products I’ve previously purchased at HD. Being proactive in writing reviews, quality reviews along with pictures, whether they are good or bad, is the key to being invited to join Seeds. It also helps to answer whatever questions you can if HD sends an email from a customer who asks about an item that you previously purchased. Once you’re enrolled in Seeds, you pick the category of items you’re interested in reviewing, the level of experience you have and promise to install and review the item(s) they send you, with 3-6 pictures, generally within about 30 days of receiving the item in shipment. Failure to comply with their terms will kick you out of the program. They offer all kinds of cool stuff, appliances, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, hardware, outdoor equipment, construction equipment, tools, flooring, decorative items, etc. Personally, I’ve received a one piece toilet, several lighting fixtures, kitchen faucet, several different boxes of miscellaneous hardware, floor squeegee, electrical tester, and other things. When they send out an email notice that a new Seeds promotion is open, you have to act fast. Hundreds, if not thousands of others are waiting to jump on the available items and they go fast.
